Larry Yonker is an icon in Colorado Springs. He has a combined 45 years in business & non-profit leadership and deep community relationships in Colorado Springs.

As CEO of Springs Rescue (SRM) from 2013 to 2020, Larry was instrumental in developing SRM's 15-acre homeless resource campus in downtown Colorado Springs. He has recently stepped out of retirement to assist SRM as interim VP of Advancement.

Prior to SRM, Larry served as Executive Director of Development and Marketing for Compassion International for 10 years. Yonker has also consulted for more than 100 Christian ministries during his career including World Vision, Campus Crusade for Christ, World Relief and the Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability. Before becoming a non-profit expert, Yonker worked in the computer industry for 16 years.

Yonker has also served on the boards of the Pikes Peak Continuum of Care and the Colorado Springs Downtown Partnership. He serves as an elder at New Life Church, where he has been a member for more than 30 years. Larry and his wife Kim live in Colorado Springs and recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary. They share two children and three grandchildren.
