If you search for him online, you will immediately be hit with headlines including “KPMG Audit Head Fined”, “Sanctions” and “Failure”.

While at Big Four Accounting Firm KPMG (annual revenue $38 billion) Scott Marcello was on the firm's Board of Directors, a 30+ year employee and the Vice Chair of Audit. He managed a workforce of thousands of auditors. He was highly regarded and successful at the highest echelon of public accounting. Until 2017.

Dig deeper and will you find that today Scott is the President of a significant African healthcare ministry with over $37M in assets serving sub-Saharan Africa.

Scott also currently serves on the Board of Trustees of his alma mater, Stetson University, where he chairs the Financial Health Committee.

Scott currently serves as president of African Mission Healthcare (AMH), a not-for-profit organization that aspires to see an African continent filled with enduring health systems where everyone has access to quality, compassionate healthcare. AMH contributes to this vision by strengthening mission hospitals throughout Africa to aid those in greatest need. Scott spends much of his time with his AMH team and AMH's hospital partners in Africa.

Scott and his wife, Dené, live in Florida and have four grown children.
